Sport prevents many health problems and renders enormous influence on our health. Sport and health are closely interrelated. It has emerged that health is the base for a human being in his ability to decide serious vital tasks and surmount various obstacles. It is a necessary condition for a man to live long and happy life.
Because he believed in us and made us believe in each other, we as a team were able to overcome some pretty great hurdles. About one hundred of his former players meet each year on his birtday to honor this Great Man. He took a chance on a bunch of Varrio kids and molded men. Each one of us still tell of our favorite Archie story when we ever we are together. He passed five years ago,a you would know it we all attend his funeral, took up a sizeable collection for his son. So he could attend Pepperdine College, Archie’s alma mater. We started a scholarship fund in honor at the school and a few of us help the school teaching the kids the fundamentals of sports as we were taught. I use these fundamentals through out my life and I can say that they have kept me successful and sports has always played a large part of my life.

Firstly, dealing with the issues surrounding obesity and weight problems is best solved by taking a long term approach and introducing more sport and exercise in schools. This method will ensure that the next generation will be healthier and will not have such health problems. At the moment, the average child in the West does sport possibly twice a week, which is not enough to counteract their otherwise sedentary lifestyle. However, by incorporating more sports classes into the curriculum as well as encouraging extracurricular sports activities, they will undoubtedly become fitter and more active.
